The Association for the Development of Rural Tourism in BiH “Alterural” and the USAID Tourism project organized ceremonial declaration of additional villages for the “Most Beautiful Villages of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.
The event was held on Wednesday, October 18 at the premises of USAID Tourism in Sarajevo.
The aim of this event was to present the activities after the publication of the open public call for applications from villages, to give certificates to villages whose applications were received in 2023 and which met the criteria, and to present the next planned activities.
Added villages are Lukomir on Mt Bjelašnica, and Vranduk, in the vicinity of Zenica.
We had the opportunity to taste delicious homemade food produced by lovely Ibrišimović family from the village of Mijakovići, near Bobovac.
The activity “The most beautiful villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina” is supported by the Government of the United States of America through the USAID Sustainable Tourism Development Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina and CCFD (France).
