Road direction Sarajevo-Rakovica-Kobiljača-Han Ploča-Kiseljak-Gromiljka (turning left for Fojnica) – Lug – Pločari – Ostružnica – Fojnica – Prokos town (Tovarište) – Tocili and a 16 km macadam road to the Prokoško lake.
If you are coming from the direction of Banja Luka and Travnik, to Koliba, i.e. to Prokoško lake, take the main road M16.4 (Novi Travnik – Bugojno) to the intersection near Novi Travnik, then follow the regional road (R439 – 21 km) to the intersection to Sebešić, where you continue on the good road on the macadam road (R438 – 12 km) to the locality of Vlaška Ravan, where you turn sharply right for another 5 km to Prokoško lake.
Fojnica is the nearest starting point for the ascent. To the village of Tovarište by car as described, further along the marked path over Panja and the peak of Stražica (1806 m) in 5 hours. It is possible to continue for about 5 km from the village of Tovarište to pl. the Jezernica house (1131 m), and further along the marked path next to the Jezernica stream to the Prokoško lake in 2 hours. There are also several alternative options if you are coming from other directions. – The macadam part of the road starts from the road towards the village of Turkovići, the place Tocili, on the road where it says Prokoško jezero 16 km.
– It is recommended to use an all-terrain vehicle or a passenger vehicle of the prescribed height from the ground.
– The period of the year when it is not possible to access the village on Lake Prokoški the winter period, from November to May (sometimes at the end of April).

Description: The Brusnica and Borovnica cabins are at your service as part of the resort. The Brusnica cabin has its own bathroom inside the building, a living room with a kitchen and a dining room, two bedrooms on the first floor and an additional sleeping space for two people next to the bedrooms. As part of this cabin, there is a large barbecue in the outer part, together with a table and benches. The maximum number of people this cabin can accommodate is 8 people. Traditional MEVLUD on Lake Prokoško (Prokoško jezero)
The traditional Mevlud is held every year in the months of July.
The Mevlud program is as follows:
- Friday prayer (Jummah) in the Mosque located on Lake Prokoško
- Promotion of a suitable film or event for a specific year
- Bicycle tour

– Anniversary of the martyrdom of international officials “Gerd Wagner” Prokoško
Lake on September 17, 1997, twelve passengers died when crashed their helicopter in dense fog near Lake Prokoški. In a helicopter there were two delegations: five members of OHR and seven members of the Mission of the United Nations. OHR officials were on their way to Bugojno to meet with local authorities and discussed key implementation issues Peace agreement.
