Other Treasures
- In 2014, Zmijanjski embroidery, which belongs to the cultural identity of the village, was included in the UNESCO representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Not far from Krupa na Vrbasu, there is a geological formation – the so-called Stone Bridge, which is considered one of the most important natural heritages of the Banja Luka region. The Stone Bridge is known in folk tales as the Maiden’s Bridge, due to the numerous legends that circulate and are linked to this geological formation. The Maiden’s Bridge is known for the legend of an unlucky girl who jumped from it due to unrequited love. Another reason why this geological formation became known as a bridge is its physical appearance that resembles a bridge, because two rocks are joined by the force of nature and form a shape that resembles a bridge.[1]
